Tank Rehabilitation Phase 2 - Kerlick Elevated Storage Tank

New Braunfels Utilities is seeking a qualified firm to provide construction services for the Tank Rehabilitation Phase 2 - Kerlick Elevated Storage Tank project. The project includes the rehabilitation of the interior and exterior coating systems, structural repairs, and appurtenance replacement for the existing 0.75 million gallon steel multi-leg elevated storage tank. The scope of work also includes civil site improvements, electrical and instrumentation improvements, storm water pollution prevention plan, site restoration, and other appurtenances necessary to complete the project. The selected firm will be responsible for obtaining all applicable permits and inspections, providing performance and payment bonds, and providing the owner with manufacturers' warranties and operations and maintenance manuals for all equipment installed. • The project is located at the Kerlick Tank site at 608 Kerlick Lane, New Braunfels, Texas. • The estimated maximum construction budget is approximately $2,600,000. • The project is expected to be completed within 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date. • The selected firm will be required to provide a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the proposal cost. • The firm will be evaluated based on the cost of the work, proposed schedule, past performance, overall qualifications, and available resources.
