RFP Custodial Services

The Murray County School System is seeking proposals for custodial services for its schools and facilities. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to extend for up to four additional one-year terms. The proposer will be responsible for providing all management, employment, supervision, training, and cleaning personnel, equipment, cleaning supplies, tools, and other materials required for the performance of the contract. The proposer must also provide a detailed cleaning schedule, which includes daily, weekly, monthly, and annual tasks for various areas of the schools, such as classrooms, cafeterias, gyms, and restrooms. Some key tasks include emptying trash cans, dusting and spot cleaning furniture, cleaning and sanitizing drinking fountains, sinks, and door knobs, and sweeping and mopping hard floors. The proposer must also provide a plan for staffing, training, and supervising its employees, as well as a plan for maintaining equipment and supplies.
