Description
The City of Salina is seeking an engineering consulting firm to design and support the replacement of three existing 28‑in × 40‑in culverts on Fairdale Road, including hydraulic analyses, easement preparation, utility coordination, and construction‑phase assistance. The consultant will be responsible for updating hydrologic/hydraulic studies, producing design drawings and specifications, and facilitating easement acquisition and utility relocations within a tight schedule that targets design completion by early April 2027 and construction completion by November 2027.
• Perform hydraulic and hydrologic analyses for the culvert replacement, referencing the 2008 drainage study and downstream box‑culvert constraints.
• Deliver full design packages (drawings, specs, bid docs) and support easement and utility acquisition processes.
• Provide construction‑phase services, including plan advertisement, bid assistance, and oversight to ensure the project opens to traffic on schedule.
