RFI_Next-Generation Nett Warrior EUD

The US Army is seeking information from industry regarding commercially available or near-production-ready handheld devices that can serve as the next-generation End User Device (EUD) for the Nett Warrior system. The EUD should be a flexible, multi-modal device that can perform reliably in austere and contested environments. It must support operations in Disconnected, Intermittent, and Limited (DIL) environments and provide multiple access options. The device should have a ruggedized design, be operable with gloves and in wet/rainy conditions, and have a touchscreen display that is functional in adverse conditions. Some key requirements for the device include: • Support for operations in DIL environments • Multiple access options (physical, wireless, or wide-area cellular) • Ruggedized design to withstand harsh operational environments • Operable with gloves and in wet/rainy conditions • Touchscreen display that is functional in adverse conditions • Capability to operate in both Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) and Classified data enclaves • Meeting NSA requirements and being on the NSA's Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) approved components list • Having sufficient processing power and memory for demanding tactical applications • Providing adequate onboard and/or expandable data storage • Running a flexible and sustainable Android OS
