Description
The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 16, intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract for the procurement of a Reach Truck Forklift. The contract will be awarded to Crown Equipment CORP. The Reach Truck Forklift should have a 4,500 lb. capacity, 36 volt, and narrow-aisle capability. The equipment will be used at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center to enhance medical mobile capabilities for lifting, storing, and removing supplies and equipment from warehouse rack locations.
• The Reach Truck Forklift should comply with international quality standards and VA patient safety standards.
• The contractor shall provide a comprehensive owner's manual and standard warranty on the unit as well as the power train.
• The contractor shall deliver the Reach Truck Forklift to the MEDVAMC, Receiving Warehouse, 2002 Holcombe Boulevard, Houston, TX, 77030.
