Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking bids for the installation and software upgrades of the Delta Controls (non-proprietary) Building Automation System (BAS), Energy Management System (EMS), and troubleshooting of the Heating, Ventilation (HVAC) system at 500 South Main Street, Bishop, CA 93514, in Inyo County. The contractor must have a current and valid C-20 (Warm Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Contractor) or C-7 (Low Voltage Systems Contractor) license issued by the California Contractors State Licensing Board (CSLB). The total bid proposal for this Agreement must not exceed $461,000.00.
• The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, supplies, parts, tools, travel, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the project.
• The contractor must possess a valid and current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR).
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including prevailing wage rates and workers' compensation insurance.
• The contractor must provide a payment bond for not less than 100% of the total amount payable by the terms of this Agreement.
• The contractor must maintain general liability insurance with limits not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate for bodily injury and property damage liability.
