Description
The United States Coast Guard is seeking to purchase 40 SEAT, MARINE, P/N: SWP-1061, and 30 SEAT, MARINE, P/N: SWP-1065. The seats are for the 29’ RB-S GEN2 asset. The solicitation is based on FAR 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and quotes will be reviewed and awarded on a Best Value basis. The evaluation criteria for the quotes will be who meets all the technical requirements, who meets the deadlines, and price.
• The seats must meet the specified technical requirements, including suspension module, fold-down seat base assembly, and height adjust system.
• The seats will not include deck mounts, deck mounts hardware, deck slide, footrest, armrests, or parts related to rear seat gun mount or fire extinguisher.
• The vendor must provide individual packaging in accordance with MIL-STD 2073-1E Method 10.
• The vendor must provide markings in accordance with MIL-STD-129R and bar-coded in accordance with ISO/IEC-16388-2007, Code 39 symbology.
