Professional IT Network Support Services Consultant

The City of Pontiac is seeking a qualified vendor to provide professional IT support services, including system administration, network management, help desk services, hardware and software support, cybersecurity monitoring, and overall technology consultation. The selected service provider will work closely with City staff to ensure the continuity, security, and efficiency of the City's information technology systems. The contract term will be for three years with two one-year options to renew. The vendor must possess a combination of industry or manufacturer certifications, including CompTIA Server+, Network+ and Security+, Microsoft certifications, VMware certification, and Cisco CCENT, CCNA, and FortiGate NSE 4+ certification. • Managed IT Services • Service ticket tracking and documentation • Regular updates and reporting on system health, maintenance, and support activities • Work products generated under this agreement shall become the property of the City • The vendor must provide proactive system oversight to prevent outages and minimize downtime • The vendor must respond to and resolve service tickets in a timely manner • The vendor must deliver services using professional discretion and methods deemed most effective
