Description
The Jefferson County Department of Administrative Services is seeking bids for a 2026 tandem axle dump truck chassis. The truck should have a 4950mm wheelbase, 7/16x3-9/16x11-1/8 inch steel frame, and a 1600mm rear frame overhang. The cab should be a 108-inch BBC flat roof aluminum conventional cab with a rugged trim package and a premium instrument cluster. The truck should also have a Detroit Connect platform, electronic cruise control, and a quickfit powertrain interface connector.
• The truck should meet all federal and state regulations, including FMVSS certification.
• The vendor should provide a list price for one 2026 model year chassis and a discount.
• The vendor should also provide a net price for one 2026 model year chassis and a commitment to delivery.
• The contract will be for one year with an option to renew for an additional year.
• The vendor should extend bid prices, cash terms, and all other terms and conditions to any Jefferson County municipality, government agency, district, sub-district, or other tax-supported entity.
