Lions Park Ballfields Lighting

The City of Bonner Springs is seeking bids from qualified contractors to upgrade the existing lighting at Fields 1 & 3 in Lions Park from halogen bulbs to LED with capabilities to remotely turn lights on/off and advance scheduling. The project includes removing existing halogen light fixtures and replacing them with LED fixtures, as well as removing existing wooden poles and replacing them with steel poles. The contractor shall supply all necessary equipment and labor for the proper removal, installation, and clean up for this project. The bid must include the cost of all required insurance, bonds, and licenses. The City reserves the right to select the work items in the bid based on available budget authority and to increase or decrease quantities by twenty-five percent based on unit prices bid. • The project requires the contractor to obtain all necessary permits to work in the City of Bonner Springs, KS. • The contractor must provide a certified or bank check or a bid bond issued by a surety in an amount of five percent of the bidder's maximum bid price. • The successful bidder must provide a certificate of insurance that names the City of Bonner Springs as an additional insured. • The project has a substantial completion deadline of 30 working days and a final completion deadline of 45 working days.
