Trash Removal Contract

The South Coast Transit Management, Inc. (SCTM) is seeking a contractor to provide trash removal services for two locations: the New Bedford Maintenance Facility and the Fall River Maintenance Facility. The contractor will be responsible for providing and maintaining dumpsters, removing and disposing of solid waste, cardboard, and recyclable materials, and ensuring that the dumpsters are kept in good condition. The contract will be for a term of two years starting in December 2025. • The contractor must provide three 10-yard dumpsters for the New Bedford Maintenance Facility, one for trash, one for cardboard, and one for recyclables. • The contractor must provide one 10-yard dumpster for the Fall River Maintenance Facility for trash. • The contractor must ensure that the dumpsters are emptied according to the established schedule and that overflow is avoided. • The contractor must obtain and maintain insurance coverage as specified in the contract.
