Description

The US Government Publishing Office is seeking a contractor to provide 1000 pressure-sensitive labels for recycling purposes. The labels must be printed with fade-resistant and waterproof ink, and must be able to withstand outdoor weather conditions. The contractor will be responsible for creating the labels, including performing a preflight check of the furnished media and publishing files, and for delivering the completed labels to the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. The contract will include a warranty period of one calendar year from the date of delivery. Key aspects of the job include: • Printing pressure-sensitive labels with specific ink and material requirements • Performing preflight checks and creating necessary trapping and file output selection • Delivering labels to the specified location • Providing proofs and receiving approval before printing • Packing and shipping the labels in a suitable manner to prevent damage

Budget estimate

$1,000 – $5,000

The budget for this contract can be estimated based on the quantity of labels required and the complexity of the printing process. Given the specific requirements for material, ink, and warranty, the cost per label may be higher than for standard printing jobs. Assuming an average cost per label of $1 to $5, the total budget for 1000 labels would be $1000 to $5000. However, this is a rough estimate and the actual budget may vary depending on the contractor's bid and the government's evaluation of the proposal. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the contractor's experience with similar printing jobs, the availability of materials and equipment, and the level of competition for the contract.
