CONSULTANT SERVICES – SEWER DESIGN STRATHCONA PARK SEWER RENEWAL (SPSR)

The City of Vancouver is seeking a qualified consulting firm to provide comprehensive sewer‑design services for the Strathcona Park Sewer Renewal (SPSR) project. The scope includes conceptual and detailed design, preparation of Issued‑for‑Tender (IFT) and Issued‑for‑Construction (IFC) documents, engineering‑of‑record responsibilities, construction contract administration, field inspections, and post‑construction warranty support. The contractor must also develop hydraulic models (PCSWMM), conduct capacity analyses, and coordinate with multiple utility owners and regulatory agencies. • Deliver a full set of sealed design drawings and specifications (IFT/IFC) and update them as required. • Act as Engineer of Record, providing daily construction inspection reports, change‑order management, and final as‑built documentation. • Provide a qualified project team—including Project Manager, Lead Design Engineer (trenchless sewer), Contract Administrator, and Construction Inspector—supported by QA/QC procedures and Indigenous participation plans.
