RFI 00585-CAB: Electron and Hadron Endcap Structures for the ePIC Detector

The Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC (BSA) is seeking expressions of interest from firms regarding two Electron and Hadron Endcap Structures for the ePIC detector to be built in the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC) interaction region IP-6 at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL). The structures are outlined in several attachments, including a Statement of Work, Technical Specification, and various drawings. • The RFI is for informational and planning purposes only and is not a commitment by the U.S. Government. • The U.S. Government will not pay for information received. • The information from this notice will help the Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Basic Energy Sciences (BES) survey available resources. • Firms should provide responses to BSA no later than October 17, 2025. • Electronic submissions are preferred and should be sent to Cindy Blanchard at [email protected].
