Description
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Works is seeking proposals for Tree Trimmer Electrical Safety Training. The training should be 16 hours in total, with 8 hours of classroom training and 8 hours of practical hands-on training. The vendor must provide training equipment and materials, and the training should cover topics such as electrical safety, rigging techniques, and rescue operations. The vendor must also provide references and resumes for all trainers. The proposal should include a price quote, a detailed training curriculum, and a work plan.
• The training should be conducted during Public Works operating hours, Tuesday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• The vendor shall not charge Public Works for cancelled class(es) in the event of catastrophic disaster, rainstorm, or other natural disaster.
• The vendor must provide a certificate of general liability insurance, automobile liability insurance, and workers' compensation coverage.
• The vendor must provide at least three references from customers with no less than 100 employees for which the vendor has provided Tree Trimmer Electrical Safety training.
