Description
The Citrus County, Florida, Code Compliance Division is seeking the services of two qualified attorneys to serve as the Special Master and an Alternate Special Master. The Special Master will perform the duties of hearing officer, hearing all cases assigned by Citrus County involving alleged violation of the various codes of Citrus County. The Special Master will work with County staff and issue findings of fact and conclusions of law in a timely manner.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Conducting hearings on alleged violations of county codes
• Imposing administrative fines and enforcement costs
• Working with County staff to issue findings of fact and conclusions of law
• Maintaining a reputation for integrity, responsibility, and professional ability
• Being a member in good standing of the Florida Bar for a minimum of five years
• Demonstrating adequate knowledge of the Citrus County Code and Chapter 162, Florida Statutes
