MTU Engines Annual and Operational Maintenance

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District, intends to negotiate and award a sole-source contract with Pacific Power Group, LLC, for the annual and operational maintenance of MTU engines on the Dredge Yaquina. The Dredge Yaquina is a U.S. flagged vessel owned by the federal government, and it requires regular maintenance to keep its engines safe and prevent damage. The contract will include preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs of the MTU engines and generators. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, and transportation to complete the work, and all parts must be genuine MTU parts. The contractor must also provide authorized service technicians to complete the work. • The contract includes an in-shop QL4 hour overhaul on the port and starboard MTU 12V2000 Generators. • The contract includes an inspection of the port and starboard Stamford HCL 534F generators. • The contract includes an on-board QL3 overhaul on the port and starboard MTU 12V2000 Dredge Engines. • The contractor must provide one tech for an initial inspection and diagnostics during the operational season.
