LASALLE-BACKUS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MODERNIZATION

The District of Columbia Department of General Services is seeking design-build proposals for the modernization of LaSalle-Backus Elementary School. The project includes full design and construction services for a 79,590 square-foot school facility, with a budget of $79,000,000. The design-builder will be responsible for designing and constructing a combination of renovation and new construction to meet the educational specifications and requirements of the District of Columbia Public Schools. The project must meet LEED for Schools - Gold requirements, achieve an energy use intensity of 22 units or less, and meet net zero energy standards.
