The pistols must be manufactured in the USA and meet specific technical specifications, including being chambered for the 9mm Luger cartridge, having a maximum slide length of 5.8 inches, and having a loaded chamber indicator. The contract will be awarded to the lowest priced, technically acceptable bidder.
