Description
The Library of Congress intends to award a sole-source firm fixed price contract to Bruker Scientific, LLC for a comprehensive service agreement for the Bruker AmaZon mass spectrometer. The service support agreement will include unlimited on-site repairs, parts for repairs and maintenance, labor, travel, telephone, email support, and annual preventative maintenance visits. The period of performance will be from 09/29/2026 to 09/28/2030. The work will be performed at the Library of Congress Preservation Research and Testing Division in Washington, D.C.
• The contract is valued at an amount below the simplified acquisition threshold, but above $25,000.
• The service agreement will include all parts, except for consumables, and on-site repairs.
• The contract is being awarded on a sole-source basis because the original manufacturer, Bruker Scientific, is the only firm authorized to provide the required service support agreement.
