NOAA NOS NGS Aerial Camera Systems

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking to upgrade its aerial camera systems for the National Geodetic Survey (NGS). The upgrade includes new hardware, full-service support, comprehensive maintenance, and updated software licensing. The system must be capable of collecting high-resolution aerial imagery to support the Coastal Mapping Program. The requirements include a minimum of 40-degree field of view, a minimum camera cycle time of 1 second, and the ability to collect imagery at a resolution of 0.25-0.50 feet when operating at an altitude of 3,500 feet above ground level. The system must also support band stacking of RGB and NIR images. The vendor must provide a documented pathway for upgrading the system and ensure compatibility with existing interfaces. • The system must include two emergency response camera systems and four standalone cameras. • The system must be capable of developing true orthomosaics and digital surface models. • The vendor must provide one year of Platinum hardware and software maintenance, licensing, and support. • The vendor must have a service center based in the United States for maintenance and support.
