Description
The City of New York’s Department of Citywide Administrative Services is seeking vendors to supply replacement gutter‑cleaning brooms and disposable pick‑up brooms for municipal use. The contract is a “C” requirement contract covering an anticipated five‑year performance period (Sept 1 2026 – Aug 31 2031). The procurement calls for 15,000 units of each broom type, must meet recycled‑content and no‑polystyrene‑foam requirements, and include all packaging and freight costs. Vendors must be manufacturers or authorized distributors with at least five years’ experience and must be registered in the NYC PASSPORT system. Bids are to be submitted by appointment only, and the City will award the lowest responsive and responsible bid for each item.
