CERTIFIED FORESTER

The Township of Toms River is seeking a State Approved Forester Consultant to manage and implement the Township's Woodlands Management Code. The selected consultant will be responsible for providing forestry services, including the preparation of woodland management plans and the implementation of forestry practices. The contract will be for a period of 12 consecutive months, with the option to renew. The Township is looking for a consultant with experience in forest management and a strong understanding of the Woodlands Management Code. • The consultant must be currently classified as an Approved Consulting Forester by the State of New Jersey. • The consultant must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the preparation of woodland management plans and the implementation of forestry practices. • The consultant must abide by the Society of American Forester's code of Ethics. • The consultant must provide a description of their professional experience and educational background. • The consultant must provide a list of professional references and records of success.
