241/40 MVA ,230-13.2 KV Transformer Bushing Repalcment

The City of Manassas is seeking a vendor to replace the bushings of a 241/40 MVA, 230-13.2 KV transformer. The scope of work includes pre-work external inspection, electrical testing, oil tests, draining and refilling the transformer, replacing the bushings, and performing leak checks and a dew point test. The vendor will also be required to install new gaskets on all disturbed manhole covers and pressurize the transformer. • The transformer has a capacity of 241/40 MVA and operates at 230-13.2 KV. • The vendor will replace 2 existing 25KV LV bushings and provide 6 additional bushings with a future delivery date. • The replacement work includes internal inspection, vacuum filling, and leak checks. • The vendor must follow specific safety procedures and guidelines during the replacement process.
