Description
The State Highway Administration is seeking a contractor to provide roadside litter pickup services in Wicomico County. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with an estimated start date of December 15th, 2025. The contractor will be responsible for removing trash, litter, and debris from various locations in Wicomico County. The contractor must have two years of continuous experience providing similar services and must be fully insured.
• The contractor must provide their own equipment and labor to complete the project.
• The contractor must have a minimum of four laborers, including one foreman, to perform the litter pickup.
• The contractor will be paid based on the number of hours worked, with a minimum of 4 hours paid if work is cancelled due to weather conditions.
• The contractor must provide a logbook of the number of full litter bags collected and disposed of daily.
• The contractor must have a cellphone with a spare battery and charger for continuous communication with the Contract Manager.
