Description
The Research Triangle Regional Public Transportation Authority (GoTriangle) is seeking bids for bus stop improvements, intersection enhancements, and pedestrian infrastructure within the Falconbridge Road and Huntingridge Road area in Durham County. The awarded contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, tools, equipment, machinery, and materials necessary to complete the work in full compliance with the contract terms. The work includes clearing, grading, concrete pads and sidewalks, installing amenities, traffic control, and other related items. The project is expected to be completed within 180 days after the notice to proceed is issued.
• The contractor must have experience in construction services, particularly in bus stop improvements and pedestrian infrastructure.
• The contractor must comply with all federal and state regulations, including the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) terms and the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) standards.
• The contractor must provide a certificate of insurance that demonstrates coverage in compliance with the requirements of the contract.
• The contractor must submit all items specified in the Instructions to Bidders section of the solicitation to be deemed responsive and responsible.
