Panther Island Canals Demolition and Abatement of Structures- La Tex Building

The Tarrant Regional Water District is requesting competitive sealed proposals for the demolition and abatement of structures at the La Tex Building, located at 505 N. Houston Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76164. The proposed work consists of demolition of building and site appurtenances, and environmental remediation required at the La Tex property. The project includes asbestos abatement and demolition of the building and site preparation activities. The contract will be awarded to the offeror who provides the best value to the TRWD based on the evaluation criteria, including proposed contract price, project approach, experience and qualifications of the offeror, and days for completion. • The project requires a mandatory pre-proposal conference and site visit. • The offeror must submit a proposal security in the form of a bid bond with their proposal. • The contract will be awarded based on the best value to the TRWD. • The project includes asbestos abatement and demolition of the building and site preparation activities. • The offeror must have an office in Tarrant County or one of the six contiguous surrounding counties. • The offeror must comply with the Texas Government Code Chapter 2252 regarding non-resident offerors. • The contract will include provisions for payment and retainage, and the offeror must comply with the State of Texas Prompt Payment Act.
