Evans Terminal Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) Federal Inspection Station (FIS)

The Wayne County Airport Authority is soliciting bids for the reconfiguration of the existing Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Federal Inspection Station (FIS) within the Evans Terminal at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. The project includes architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical improvements. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be subject to the Airport Authority's Prevailing Wages Requirements. • The project requires a Bid Guarantee of 5% of the total bid amount. • The Bidder must submit a completed Price Form and a Bid Guarantee. • The Bidder must provide information about each subcontractor that will be utilized in the contract. • The Bidder must be in Good Standing with the State in which their business is domiciled. • The Bidder must certify that it does not use forced labor or engage in human trafficking/modern slavery in any of its operations or supply chains. • The contract will include liquidated damages for failure to meet substantial and final completion dates.
