Description
Missoula County seeks a qualified consulting firm to deliver comprehensive public participation and engagement services supporting the update of its comprehensive plan for unincorporated areas. The work includes developing a communications strategy, finalizing a public participation plan, facilitating in‑person meetings and workshops, designing and administering surveys, producing graphics and cartographic products, and delivering a final outreach report. The County will manage the overall project; the contractor will supplement staff with outreach execution, strategic communications, and deliverable creation. The contract runs from late July 2026 through December 31 2027.
• Develop and implement a multi‑channel communications and engagement strategy.
• Conduct public meetings, mapping workshops, small‑group sessions, and surveys (both online and mail‑in).
• Produce graphics, cartography, and a comprehensive outreach documentation report.
• Optional follow‑on services may include support for land‑use regulation development and economic development district planning.
