Description
The State of Maryland is soliciting bids for a contractor to provide carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and minor plumbing and electrical work for a kitchen renovation at the La Plata Maintenance Facility. The successful contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the project. The project includes installing base and wall cabinets, countertops, repairing damaged drywall, and painting the kitchen. The contractor must have at least five years of experience in commercial carpentry, drywall repair, and painting work.
• The project requires compliance with federal, state, county, and local codes, rules, and regulations.
• The contractor must provide proof of certification, licenses, and experience for all staff working under the contract.
• The contractor must submit two references with the bid.
• The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder submitting a responsive bid with the most favorable bid price.
• The contract duration is sixty calendar days from the notice to proceed letter issued to the vendor.
