Description
The Scott County School District is seeking bids for the construction of a building located at 521 Cleveland St, Forest, MS 39074. The project involves a partial roof replacement as indicated on drawings. Bidders will be required to provide bid security in the form of a bid bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the bid amount or a certified check for a sum no less than 5 percent of the bid amount. The bid documents for a stipulated sum contract may be obtained from the plan room website of the Architect at www.mpdesigngroupplans.us upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit.
• The project requires a Mississippi certificate of responsibility number for bids in excess of $50,000.00.
• The bid submission deadline is June 25, 2026, at 2:00 pm local standard time.
• The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
• The project is subject to Mississippi Law, MS Code 31-3-21(3), which requires non-resident contractors to provide their current state law pertaining to such state's treatment of non-resident contractors.
