P2512-26 Zone 1 Transmission Improvements Phase 1

The City of Kennewick is seeking bids for the Zone 1 Transmission Improvements Phase 1 project. The project involves the construction of approximately 3,050 linear feet of 18-inch ductile iron potable water pipeline and 2,688 linear feet of 36-inch ductile iron or steel potable water pipeline. The project also includes the installation of valves, fittings, valve vaults, asphalt patching, site restoration, and other work necessary to complete a fully operational water system. • The project is expected to cost around $4,900,000. • The bid security shall be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount of not less than 5% of the total bid. • The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance, payment, and maintenance bond equal to 100% of the original contract amount. • The project is subject to the provisions of the Washington State Public Works Law and the Federal Davis-Bacon and related acts. • The contractor must pay the prevailing wage rate for all work performed on the project.
