Solicitation: 2026-008 Telehealth Technologies

The Alabama Department of Mental Health (ADMH) is seeking proposals from qualified firms and/or individuals to provide telehealth equipment in the State of Alabama. The selected equipment vendor will be responsible for guiding the design and implementation of all project hardware and software equipment, delivering and installing all telehealth equipment at designated end-user sites, implementing training on telehealth equipment usage and maintenance, and completing data collection related to the telehealth equipment. The contract for services will encompass a three-year period. • The project aims to enhance a hub-and-spoke service delivery approach for certified treatment provider agencies to create a mechanism for reducing rural healthcare disparities. • The project will place interactive, telehealth technology systems within fifteen rural, end-user sites to enable access to mental health and substance use care in rural counties of Alabama. • The telecommunications system plan is to include a two-way synchronous video conference solution with interactive patient monitoring technology. • The telehealth carts are to contain a Poly X52 codec, a high-definition camera, speakers, and a microphone for enhanced audio and visual interaction. • All solutions must follow HIPAA guidelines, and BAA agreements are required for any vendor that could potentially have access to protective health information (PHI).
