Glazier Services

The United States Secret Service (USSS) is seeking a contractor to provide glazier services throughout the National Capital Region. The contractor will be responsible for installing and removing ballistic glass systems at various protected sites, including the White House Complex and foreign diplomatic missions. The contract will be a firm-fixed price, five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement. The USSS requires the contractor to provide expert glazier services, leveraging advanced technology and industry best practices to deliver high-quality results in a timely and secure manner. The contractor will be evaluated based on their technical approach, past performance, program management and experience, and price. • The contractor must have experience in handling glass and the use of glass moving equipment. • The contractor must be able to provide services anywhere within the Continental United States. • The contractor must be able to execute with less than 12 hours’ notice. • The contractor must be aware of and establish rapport with local labor unions. • The contractor must provide knowledgeable and experienced personnel to attend planning walk-throughs. • The contractor must ensure that the glass panels are securely fastened to the stands. • The contractor must not use ammonia-based products to clean the panels.
