Description
The Department of General Services (DGS) is soliciting contractors to provide catering services to Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s executive agencies. The services will be available to using agencies located within a 20-mile radius of the Main Capitol Complex. Contractors must meet certain qualifications, including providing documentation showing two years of experience in the appropriate commodity code selected under Service Categories, and obtaining a valid Department of General Services (DGS) Small Business Reserve (SBR) certificate. The contract will be for a period of 60 months, from 11/01/2025 to 10/31/2030.
• The contractor must provide general catering services for commonwealth functions, such as small and large meetings, work group sessions, etc.
• The contractor must provide specified catering services on a job-by-job basis, normally reserved for special events, formal affairs, etc.
• The contractor must agree to make a good faith effort to donate excess prepared food to a non-profit organization.
• The contractor must comply with the requirements outlined in the contract and the agencies’ requests for quotes.
• The contractor’s performance will be monitored and evaluated on an annual basis.
