Well 37 Equipping Design Services - Request for Proposals

The Palmdale Water District is seeking a consultant to provide engineering design services for Well 37, a new municipal groundwater well. The consultant will be responsible for providing a comprehensive suite of hydrogeologic, civil, mechanical, structural, electrical, and environmental services to deliver a fully functional and equipped production facility. The scope of work includes project management, data and literature review, preliminary well design, environmental and permitting support, technical plans, specifications and cost estimates for wellhead facility and equipping, bidding and pre-construction activities, and construction and post-construction support services. Some key tasks and deliverables include: • Project management and coordination • Data and literature review • Preliminary well design and cost estimate • Environmental and permitting support • Technical plans, specifications and cost estimates for wellhead facility and equipping • Bidding and pre-construction activities • Construction and post-construction support services The consultant will be selected based on a "best value" procurement process, which considers both price and qualitative factors. The District reserves the right to conduct interviews with shortlisted firms.
