Description
The US Air Force is seeking information from potential contractors for the acquisition of wash and lubrication services for F-16C aircraft at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Florida. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all necessary personnel, supervision, transportation, and materials to wash and lube aircraft. The services will be performed in accordance with applicable technical orders and department of the Air Force instructions.
• The contractor will provide all labor, supervision, and services necessary to perform complete aircraft exterior washes, pre-wash preparations, post-wash procedures, and lubrication services.
• The contractor will be required to get access to the Maintenance Information System (MIS) and document the completion of all wash and lubrication tasks.
• The contractor will be responsible for ensuring all employees have adequate knowledge of the proper procedures for using chemicals, tools, and equipment necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable federal and local laws, regulations, and requirements regarding environmental protection.
