Demolition of 701 Shawnee Avenue/703 Depot Street

The City of Scranton is seeking separate sealed bids for the demolition of 701 Shawnee Avenue/703 Depot Street. The scope of work includes pulling a permit for demolition, demolishing the property, capping the main sewer drain, breaking up any concrete flooring, clearing brush off the lot, calling NEIC for inspection, cleaning backfill, and seeding and hayning the area. Bidders must meet the identified criteria and format, and consideration will be based on compliance with those requirements. • The bid must include a detailed cost sheet showing the hours, labor costs, expenses, and total cost for each task in the project. • The bid must include a not-to-exceed budget for reimbursable expenses. • The bidder must have a minimum of 5 years of experience under their current business name. • The bidder must be duly registered with the applicable federal, state, or local oversight body(s) required to fulfill the scope of services outlined. • The bidder must submit a Bid Bond (10% of contract amount) and provide Performance Bond (100%) and Payment Bond (100%) at the time of award.
