The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) is soliciting applications for a grant to establish a Reproductive Center of Excellence. The center will focus on preventing, diagnosing, and treating reproductive health conditions such as polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, infertility, and pelvic inflammatory disease. The grant will support a cooperative agreement with a selected organization to strengthen the translation of evidence into practice, enhance and standardize care pathways, expand workforce training, and improve health outcomes for women. Key aspects of the project include:
* Developing and implementing root-cause clinical pathways for prioritized conditions
* Strengthening clinician training through a scalable curriculum and competency assessments
* Expanding patient-centered navigation and education resources
* Conducting a rigorous evaluation of clinical and patient-reported outcomes
* Disseminating findings and resources widely to support adoption of the approach across health systems and professional networks
* Developing a sustainability plan to maintain and support the program's core activities without federal funding
