Strategies to Innovate EmeRgENcy Care Clinical Trials Network (SIREN) Infrastructure ? Clinical Coordinating Center (CCC) and Data Coordinating Center (DCC)

The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) and The National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) are seeking to continue support for the Infrastructure for the Strategies to Innovate EmeRgENcy Care Clinical Trials Network (SIREN). The SIREN Network performs clinical trials that impact the care of individuals with non-stroke neurological and cardiovascular emergencies in pre-hospital or emergency department settings. The goal of SIREN is to improve outcomes by identifying effective treatments given in the earliest stages of care. • The program will encourage applications for a Clinical Coordinating Center (CCC) and Data Coordinating Center (DCC) to support the NIH SIREN clinical trial network. • The notice is being provided to allow potential applicants sufficient time to develop meaningful collaborations and responsive applications for centers. • Applications are not being solicited at this time.
