General Contraction and Repairs South Region

The Wake County Public School System is seeking a contractor to provide general construction and repairs at various WCPSS facilities throughout the district. The work includes construction and repair of building envelope, interior building structures, and exterior building structures, such as roofs, walls, floors, and masonry. The contractor must have a general contractor license. • The contract term is one year, with the option for a one-year extension. • The contractor must provide documentation showing the cost of labor and materials per invoice to WCPSS. • The contractor's net profit on subcontractors' rates shall be no greater than cost plus 5%, and the contractor's net profit on materials overhead and profit shall be cost plus no greater than 10%. • The contractor must maintain insurance, including commercial general liability, commercial automobile liability, and workers' compensation.
