Notice of Intent to Sole Source, Fastrac 246M Cementitious Repair Materials for ERDC GSL

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Research and Development Center (ERDC), Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory (GSL) intends to issue a sole source award to Western Materials & Design LLC to procure Fastrac 246M, a cementitious material. The material has previously passed laboratory testing protocol but now must be evaluated for large repairs. The ERDC requires twenty-eight super sacks (3,000 lbs. each) and thirty-six buckets (50 lbs. each) of the subject material. • The product is a cementitious material used for repairs. • The ERDC requires a specific quantity of the material. • Western Materials & Design LLC is the sole manufacturer of the Fastrac 246M product. • The government intends to award a Firm-Fixed price contract to Western Materials & Design LLC.
