Description
The City of Sierra Vista is seeking a qualified airport architectural/engineering consulting firm to provide scoping, design, bidding/negotiation, and construction administration services for several planned projects at the Sierra Vista Municipal Airport. The firm will be required to adhere to all FAA requirements and work with military and civilian administrators at a joint-use airfield. The contract term will be three years with an option to extend for up to two years. The City encourages the use of Small Business Concerns and disadvantaged business enterprises. The scope of work includes potential projects such as installing new AWOS sensors, designing and constructing pavement preservation and rehabilitation projects, and designing and constructing access, parking, aprons, taxiways, and utility improvements.
• Install new AWOS sensors
• Design and construction of a pavement preservation project on Runway 12-30 and a connector taxiway to Runway 30
• Design and construction of a pavement rehabilitation project on the concrete apron
• Design and construction of access, parking, aprons, taxiways, and utility improvements to support landside development on the north side of the Airport
• Design and construction of general pavement maintenance identified in the ADOT Pavement Assessment
• Install MALSF on Runway 26
• Install REILs on Runways 26 and 12, and 30
