IFB B-27-019-55091 Repair Winding Brook Sanitary Sewer

The Cecil County Government is seeking bids for the repair of the Winding Brook Sanitary Sewer. The project involves replacing a portion of the existing gravity sanitary sewer with new 8" PVC gravity sewer lines and providing maintenance access for portions of the system within the Winding Brook Subdivision in Elkton, Maryland. The bid must include all equipment, materials, and labor required to complete the work. The bid price should cover the furnishing of all necessary machinery, tools, apparatus, and means for performing the work. • The project includes mobilization and demobilization, survey and layout, erosion and sediment control, connection to existing manhole, installation of new sanitary sewer manholes and mains, site restoration, and as-built documentation. • The contractor must provide a company safety program and ensure that all workers wear standard work clothes, hard hats, high visibility safety shirts, steel toe work boots, leather work gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection as required. • The contractor must also provide a project sign and maintain it until the project is completed. • The bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check, and the contractor must agree to indemnify and hold harmless the County, its employees, agents, and officials from any liabilities, claims, or demands.
