RFP 902689 Chaplaincy Program for Justice-Involved Individuals

The County of Alameda is seeking a qualified contractor to provide a chaplaincy program for justice-involved individuals at the Santa Rita Jail. The program must be multi-religious, multi-faith, and non-denominational, and must provide a variety of services including worship, counseling, and education. The contractor must have experience providing chaplaincy services in a correctional setting and must be able to work with a diverse population. The contract will be for a period of three years, with the option to renew for an additional two years. • The contractor must provide a program supervisor, Muslim chaplain, Protestant chaplain, and Catholic chaplain, as well as other staff as needed. • The contractor must provide regular services, including worship, counseling, and education, to meet the diverse needs of the justice-involved population. • The contractor must work with the County to adjust services based on the needs of the population and program evaluations. • The contractor must provide reports and data on services provided, including the number of individuals served and the types of services provided.
