SMC Parks: WCP Woody Debris Management

The San Mateo County Department of Parks is seeking quotes for hazardous tree mitigation and woody debris management services along Bear Gulch Road in Wunderlich County Park. The project includes the removal of four trees, three of which are standing and one that is down on the ground, and the management of associated woody debris. The contractor must have experience with removal of large trees, be licensed and insured, and meet San Mateo County's prevailing wage requirements. The project is expected to be completed within two months. • The contractor must have at least one worker on staff with an ISA certified arborist certification. • The contractor must provide a W-9 and insurance requirements on a Certificate of Liability Insurance (COLI). • The contractor must communicate with Parks staff as requested and coordinate with them to schedule mitigation work. • The contractor must report any sensitive environmental resources that may be significantly impacted by work activities. • The contractor must provide an estimation of the amount of mulch generated and broadcasted.
