PIGA Float Assembly Repair Program

The U.S. Air Force has a requirement to support the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Pendulous Integrated Gyroscopic Accelerometer (PIGA) Float repair effort. The scope of work includes the re-manufacture, rebuild, and repair of PIGA Float Assemblies, a critical component of the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile weapon system. The Government anticipates awarding a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) and Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) IDIQ structured for five years. • The contract will be for the repair of 96 PIGA Floats per year. • The ordering period is anticipated to be from 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2031. • The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Honeywell Aerospace.
