Description
The County of Volusia seeks a qualified vendor to collect, transport, and recycle whole waste tires from two county facilities – Tomoka Farms Road Landfill in Port Orange and the West Volusia Transfer Station in DeLand. The contractor must process both rimmed and de‑rimmed tires, handling passenger, light‑truck, and oversized tires up to 11R24.5, with an estimated annual volume of roughly 2,000 tons (no guaranteed minimum). Services must comply with Florida Administrative Code 62‑701 and be performed at approved off‑site recycling facilities. The award will be a three‑year agreement with two optional one‑year renewals, and the County will pay undisputed invoices within 45 business days (net‑45) with possible prompt‑payment discounts. Pricing proposals will be evaluated on total cost, delivery capability, list of processing facilities, and past performance.
