Budget estimate

$4,000,000 – $6,000,000

Based on the listed quantities and typical market prices for municipal‑grade water‑treatment chemicals, the total contract value is estimated in the multi‑million‑dollar range. For example, sodium hypochlorite (~$1‑2 / gal) could generate $280‑560 k, calcium oxide (~$0.30 / lb) about $3 M, ferric chloride (~$0.40 / lb) roughly $480 k, and the other chemicals together add several hundred thousand dollars. Adding bonding, insurance, and administrative overhead, the overall budget is likely between $4 million and $6 million for the first year, with a similar scale if the optional second year is exercised. Factors influencing the final amount include actual unit prices negotiated in the reverse auction, fuel and transportation costs, and any volume discounts.
