Purchase of One Dump Truck and Two Flatbed Trucks

The City of Palm Desert is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide one new dump truck and two new flatbed trucks. The trucks should meet the specifications outlined in the RFP, including engine, transmission, and safety features. The successful proposer will be selected based on price, compliance with specifications, and delivery schedule. The City reserves the right to reject all proposals or to award the contract to the proposer whose proposal best meets the City's requirements. Some key features of the dump truck and flatbed trucks include: • Dump truck: 18,000 lbs GVWR, turbocharged diesel engine, 300 HP, 750 lb-ft torque, four-wheel drive, and a steel dump body with a minimum 10-gauge sides and floor. • Flatbed trucks: turbocharged diesel engine, four-wheel drive, heavy-duty automatic transmission, and a heavy-duty steel or aluminum flatbed with non-slip deck surface. The proposal should include a cover letter, dump truck and flatbed truck specifications, pricing proposal, and other required documents.
